We held our second Tea on the Lawn event last Friday, and what a fantastic afternoon it was!
This annual event is held to help bring the general, forces and business community together, with special guests from the Royal British Legion.
Tea (and something stronger) was served, along with a great buffet from Chelsey’s Cafe, all keeping within the theme for the day. Obviously, we had jam and scones to go with the pots of tea 🙂
Music was provided by the wonderful ‘Vintage Singer’, Madeleine Cooke, who serenaded us throughout the afternoon.
Grey clouds did start to form, but all the positive energy from all the guests help to keep them at bay and make the day a special one.
Thanks again to all who attended – we really were delighted so many people could come and join us.
Until next year…………..(you can contact Lorna / Zoe or check our web page for more upcoming events).
You can find out more about the Royal British Legion and the great work they do here.
