Enterprise M3 Award New Funding

Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership has awarded £155,000 towards a plan to help nurture new businesses and create new jobs in Aldershot. Leading business support provider WSX Enterprise will use the money to further develop the Aldershot Enterprise Centre, which aims to support the ongoing economic growth of the local community and give new entrepreneurs a base for their business. We held our second Tea on the Lawn event last Friday, and what a fantastic afternoon it was! This annual event is held to help bring the general, forces and business community together, with special guests from the Royal British Legion. Armed Forces Covenant Fund

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund has supported the Aldershot Enterprise Centre as it has similar goals, ie: integrating military and local communities, and in doing so created over 20 new companies and 30 new jobs in the first year of operation. The Covenant funds have provided support through contributing towards training costs and the business mentors who work with the new companies.
